Cardio Interval Challenge

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from (pattern 4181)

This is a fun twist on a basic Hi/Lo class. After warming up the class, we do about 5-7 minutes of cardio and then 2-3 minutes of weights. Keep repeating this cycle until you are ready to cool it down.

Warm Up

Repeat left

Cardio Interval One

Repeat left- Don't step down with the left leg after the double rear lunge- this puts you on the left side. To really make them work I will have them do a lunge series- side lunge singles (32) doubles side (64) quad lunges side (64) doubles side (64) singles side (32)

Weight Interval One

Cardio Interval Two

Repeat left to make 32 count combo

To really work them after you have have run through the combo a few times have them hold the mambo cha cha and see how far they can travel.

This should be enough to get you started. It is a really intense workout and a lot of fun!!
