Keshia's New Year Double Step Patterns
This is a
Double Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 3900)
This is a vertical D-step pattern. The bench on the right is
Away the bench on the left is Home.
Combo 1
- Ham curl grapevine toward the left wall then grapevine
back to the step (8) (when you exit from the curl
immediately grapevine away)
- Over the top of both benches (8)
Repeat on the Away bench (16)
Combo 2
- Glute lift straddle (4) (Home)
- Glute lift exit (4) (when you exit face the left wall)
- Syncopated V-step: step up wide left foot then right
(1-2) left foot comes down and right knee lifts (3-4)
place right foot down in front of the home bench, as you
step over the bench turn to face the front(5,6,7) for the
last count clap (8)
- Step up lunge right and left then exit Home (8)
- Step up lunge right then left exit the Away bench (8)
Combo 3
- Hop turn with two knees on Away (8)
- Turnstep on Away (4)
- Basic on Home (when you exit turn and face Away bench) (4)
- Basic on Away (when you exit turn and face Home) (4)
- Turnstep on Home (4)
- Hop turn with two knees on Home (8)
Combo 4
- Over the top of Home (4) (starting at the bottom end)
- 3 Alternating knees between Away and Home starting on
Away (12) moving toward the top inside corners.
- Go over the top of Home (now in the top corner) (4)
- Power knee moving back (4)
- Double hop turn (8) go over both benches
Combo 5
- Frat step: step knee (1-2), then rock back left foot
then right foot (3-4) straddle down right then left (5-6)
then two stomps (7-8)
- Hop turn on the Away bench (4)
- A-step on Away bench (you are now center of both benches
facing back of the room)
- Diagonal on Home (4)
- Step touch around top corner of home (4) (now facing
front and in the center)
- Go over the top and then jack 2 times (8)
Combo 6
- Side lift straddle (4)
- Mambo or pivot (4)
- Inner thigh (4)
- Turnstep (4)
- Double A-step (go over both benches) (8)
- Hop turn straddle knee exit away bench (8)
Repeat all cobos starting on the Away bench.
