Great Beginner Routine

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 3988)

Step is horizontal for all combinations.

I have been using this routine with beginning classes for nearly one year now and they seem to enjoy it, as well as those who are more advanced because they can still work up a sweat doing it. It introduces most of the main steps to the beginners and I make sure they have the step down before moving on. I do almost everything in 16 counts or 32 counts to start out with and then put it all together in the end in 4 counts and 8 counts, like a pyramid. This helps beginners to learn to hear the 32 counts in the music and nearly all of them find themselves automatically knowing when to change to the next move, even if they don't know why! Overall, most new steppers feel like they have learned and accomplished a lot when finishing this routine!

Have fun and I hope it works as well for your classes!
