Covering All Sides
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 4004)
Starting from a vertical orientation to the board:
- Corner to corner (4)
- 3 Single side lifts around the end of the board (12)
- 3 Repeater glutes (8)
- Kick lunge kick a.k.a. charleston (8)
Repeat in sets of 3 to alternate sides
- Corner to corner (4)
- 3 Single knee lifts walking it back (12)
- Corner to corner (4)
- 3 Single knee lifts (other side) walking it back (12)
Repeat in sets of 3 (substituting side lifts, hamstring curls,
and knee-side-ham combo)
Last part--the dreaded repeater set:
- Corner to corner
- Repeater knee for 3
- Straddle down to other side
- Repeater knee for 3
- Straddle down to other side
- Repeater side for 3
- Straddle down to other side
- Repeater side for 3
- Straddle down to other side
- Repeater ham for 3
- Straddle down to other side
- Repeater ham for 3
Exit opposite side, into corner to corner, and start at very top
Because the first section reverses your orientation, mixing it
with the second two allows you to swing it around. I've been
doing this for some time with my classes, and it's so much fun
they don't seem to mind that it's getting old, but I thought I'd
share it before I retire it.
