Around the World
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 4037)
Combo 1
(Right lead)
- Knee up straddle (4)
- Knee up exit (towards mirrors) (4)
- Over the top (with left lead) x2 (8)
- Reverse turn (with left lead, back to step, facing mirrors) (4)
- Over the top (right lead) (4)
- Repeater knee (step with left, right knee) (4)
Now all that on the left
Combo 2
(Right lead)
- 3-2-1 Turn/return (2 turnsteps, no pause in between, 2 hops
on floor at end) (8)
- Over the top (4)
- Turnstep (with left, facing back wall) (4)
- Weave (right lead, it's up then cross behind to step
down) X3 (12)
- Step tap (with the left) (4)
Now all that on the left
Combo 3
(Right lead)
- Chug X4 (it's like a step tap, but without the tap) (8)
- Turnstep x2 (8)
- Repeater knee (up, step behind, step back, exit mirrors) (8)
- Reverse hop turn (with the left) (4)
- Step tap (with the left) (4)
Now all that with left lead.
Recommend teaching each component alone before putting it into
the combo. Example: The weave by itself x4 (16) and then
4 turnsteps.
Thus the moves should be very familiar before calling them out
in a combo.
