Easy Start
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 5054)
This is an easy warm up pattern for an advanced class.
First combo:
- Four right basics (16)
- One time around the world (step left knee up straddle,
step right knee up exit right, now facing back of
class, step left knee up straddle, step right knee up
exit right face front) (16)
- Four right V-steps (16)
- Four side to side knees (I like to hop these when I
start from the top later in class) (16)
Immediately after the fourth knee up (I work up to this
nice and easy) I prep class for 3 over the tops for next
segment)
- 3 Over the tops (12)
- 1 Step hop back (4)
- 1 Diagonal pivot (4)
- 3 Knee repeater (8)
- 1 Turnstep (4)
You will land on opposite lead for left lead repeat. I
add combos to this and use this as a "break" when we
start from the top.
Class members get fooled that this is going to be a simple
pattern when you hit the step hop back they kind of wake
up!! I like the surprise!
