Add On Box Aerobics
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 5091)
Good combo for folks who are more accustomed to low
impact aerobics but who are trying a kickboxing class.
Do this combo after you have shown each move
independently. This is a standard "Four-Wall"
add-on, meaning that I do everything facing the front,
then add a 1/4 turn, do the same thing facing right,
1/4 turn, face back...when you get back to the front
add on the next step in line.
Hands in guarding position...
- Alternating front kicks, moving forward (8)
- 4 Jumping jacks (or half jacks) moving back (8)
- 4 Alternating squats/elbow strikes (8)
- 4 Alternating side kicks (8)
Do the first two moves facing each wall and then add on
the others one at a time facing each wall before adding
another. Depending on how quickly the class picks this
up, I may or may not add a "speed bag
shuffle" for 4 counts each time we change walls.
