Quick on Your Feet

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 5194)

Combo 3

Repeat combo 3 with left lead before going back to combo 1 with left lead.

Normally, shuffles are done in 4's or 8's. Try these 2 count shuffles right and left traveling all the way to the back of the room. It will take at least 16 counts. This will get students used to shifting directions. The speed ski is just a side to side jump on both feet. It is best to stay facing the left front corner to do these as it puts you in fighting stance for the next move. The flurrie is uppercuts as fast as you can. Still in fighting stance (right foot front, left foot back), the left foot starts the front kick. ***Bring the kick down to finish with the left foot in front to execute the right uppercut. Kick on count 1 and place the foot in front on count 2. 2 quick uppercuts are an option instead of 1.
