Jen's Cardio Boxfit Combo#1

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 4916)

Combo #1

Repeat 2x each lead leg

Combo #2

Repeat other side

Combo #3

Do this 2 times then get them to football shuffle feet while in flurry

Optional: 3 uppercuts and jack, moving up
Flurry uppercut, running back

These combinations are basic but...it keeps their heart rates up and keeps them sweating, also I like to do a good thirty minutes of pure cardio, but still boxing, and I find if I try too many kicks in with the cardio their is a lot of incorrect form and that can lead to injuries so...I like to keep it simple and work the kicks in a more controlled strength component of the class.

For the cardio I use anywhere between 130 bpm - 142 bpm. I really like Dynamix's collection of Team Training CD's, #2 is the best by far. #3 and #4 have a different mix to them but are still awesome. Sometimes I use a Gymjams Super step tape for more hip hop style.

For the strength I keep the beats around 124-132. NO higher.
