Circle Up!

This is an Aquatic pattern from (pattern 4931)

This is one of my classes favorites. I use it almost every class because they miss it if we don't do it. Usually after the warm up and the first part of the cardio I say, "Circle Up" and everyone gets in a circle. I have them start jogging around in a circle. After jogging around a full circle, I yell, "Reverse!" and they reverse. This is so great for cardio and the legs because you are fighting the current. I do about 4 of these and then you can modify it by sitting back and travelling backwards, doing side steps or doing the crab walk.

Sometimes to get out of this I have everyone follow me and we snake around the pool in a line. This provides a strong current and it poops everyone out.

A pointer: If the class is really big, I use two circles. An outer circle and an inner circle. The inner circle I suggest those that may move a little slower or would rather walk instead of jog, that way the die hards in the outer circle don't get frustrated and the ones in the inner circle don't feel bad. To make this a little harder, I have the circles go opposite directions.
