Squats across

My classes are getting the hint that I love to work legs. This
can be a very intense end to a class or even during toning
Step is horizontal
- Begin with across the tops--I usually do 8 sets
- A set is across and back
- Add the change: keep going across but "go low"
into a squat position 8 sets
- Add the change: keep going across but half time the
squats
- I cue--slow squats up, up, floor, floor (ie right foot
up 1, 2 left foot closes on top 3, 4 right foot to
floor 5, 6 left foot to floor 7, 8) 8 sets
- Add the change: double time squats
- Add the change: take it across the top
Make sure to discuss safety of squats: toes and knees same
direction knees never extend beyond toes etc...
