Knockout Combo

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 4983)

Ready position

Right foot lead

Repeat other side

Option- Add double right uppercut and then a double left uppercut after 1 1/2 minutes of the 4 count on one side

I show this combination 2-4 times at half time, then bring it to tempo flat footed, I then show an option of bringing it up the intensity by staying light on your feet.

We do this combo for approximately 2 1/2 minutes at high intensity and then repeat on the other side for 2 1/2 minutes

Another option for the class after they have become familiar with this four count is to add a double uppercut to both sides after 1 1/2 minutes into the combo making it an 8 count

Also, have them look in the mirror to focus their jab and punch at hitting their nose, the hook should aim for the jaw, and their uppercut through the chin. This helps with form as well as intensity.

Stress the muscles being worked to make them tight and add that power and intensity
