Freaky Deaky
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 5027)
All combos are 32 counts. Lead is starting on the right
foot. Step is horizontal.
Combo #1:
- Double knee to left corner
- Lunge on floor 2, top leg always lunges first
(I usually start them off with a march)
- Double knee to the right corner
- Lunge on floor 2, top leg always lunges first
(I usually start them off with a march - then
turn to a lunge)
- Knee lift straddle
- Knee lift exit the side of the step - travel to
opposite corner
- Knee lift straddle
- Knee lift exit side (face front)
*You may call this an "around the world"
Combo #2:
- Turnstep 1
- Grapevine facing the back of the room 1
- Corner to corner diagonal)
- Step touch 2 on the floor or hop turn 1 to the
front of the step.
- Single knee right-left-right
- Basic tap change
Repeat the combo on the left foot.
Combo #3:
- Single hamstring curl right and left
- Over the top to the left
- When you hit the floor turn and look at the
opposite wall (you can also have them turn as they
go over the top)
- Over the top (you should be facing the opposite
direction then when you started)
- Repeater knee to the right corner
- 2 Charleston kicks to the left corner
Repeat Combo #3 on the left foot
Combo #4:
- L-step left
- Step up center and lunge back 2
(I start them off with 2 basics then change to lunges)
- L-step right
- 2 Lunges back center
- Rock rock hop turn (face back wall)
- Single knee on each corner
- V-step left 1
- 1/2 step (hesitation) 1
- Pivot 1 (or a basic)
- 1 Basic left
Repeat rock rock on the left foot
Combo #5:
2 Charleston kicks left
V-step left
Walk over or another V-step
Repeat from the 2 kicks
(To walk over bring your left foot to the right corner of
the bench this will turn you towards the back of the room,
place you right foot at the left corner, you should be facing
totally back with both feet on the bench. Step down.)
Combo #6:
- Basic tap change 2
- V-step tap change
- Single knee left
- Mambo cha cha on the floor
- Repeater knee on the bench
Repeat the basic tap change on the left foot
