Hi/Lo pattern from

This pattern can be modified easily for higher impact.
Block 1: 32 counts
- Grapevine right, tap left foot (4)
- March or jog forward on left foot lead (4)
- Grapevine left (4)
- March or jog backward on left foot lead (4)
- Grapevine left, tap right foot (4)
- March or jog forward on right foot lead (4)
- Grapevine right (4)
- March or jog backward on right foot lead (4)
Block 2: 64 counts
- 4 Scoots forward on right foot lead (8)
- Step right, tap left heel, step left, tap right heel (4)
- 4 Hops on the right foot, turning around in a circle to
the right (4)
- (you are now still on the right foot, left foot held up,
facing front)
- Cross left foot over right, step back with right, cha cha
cha on left, right, left (4)
- Cross right foot over left, step back with left,
cha cha cha on right, left, right (4)
- Step forward on left foot, pivot to face the back, march
toward the back 4 counts, pivot again on left foot (8)
- (you are now facing the front of the room)
Repeat all of block two on the left foot lead (32 counts)
Block 3: 32 counts
- 4 Alternating hamstring curls forward on right lead, arms
up on step and pull down on curl (8)
- 4 Zig-zags back (step touch on angle, first back to
right, then back to left), pec press arms (8)
Repeat above on left lead (don't tap after the last zig-zag,
step on the right foot instead!) (16)
Block 4: 32 counts
- 1 Grapevine right, tap left foot: turn towards the left
side of the room on the tap (4)
- 1 Grapevine left towards the back of the room, tap right
foot: face the back of the room on the tap (4)
- 1 Grapevine right facing the back of the room, tap
left (no turn) (4)
- 2 Step touch facing the back of the room (left, then
right) (4)
- 1 Grapevine left, facing back, tap right foot: turn to
face the left side of the room again on the tap (4)
- 1 Grapevine right towards the front of the room, tap
left foot, turn facing the front on the tap (4)
- 1 Grapevine left facing front, tap right (no turn) (4)
- 2 Step touch facing front (right, then left) (4)
Block 5: 32 counts
- 3 Alternating kicks forward, right, left, right (5)
- 3 Marches or jogs, right, left, right (3)
- Repeat above on left lead (8)
- Hop twice on right foot, twice on left, march or jog
3 (right, left, right), tap left foot (8)
- Hop twice on left foot, twice on right, march or jog 3
(left, right, left), tap right foot (8)
On that last block, if your class does not want the impact of the
hops they can just step tap instead. Block 2 is kind of complex
but if you break it down and teach it half-time they get it
quickly. To teach block 4, just do the grapevines and step touches
to the front of the room first, then add the turns.
Have fun! This will get them moving around the room and out of
their usual spots!
