Mad March Thighs
This is a
Body Sculpting pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 4281)
Abductors
Lie on floor, bottom leg bent under, top leg out straight. I
always say to look down the body and if you can see your knees
then move them back so you are in a straight line. Also lying
on hip bone so that the hips are stacked etc etc, I'm sure you
know anyway. Side of foot or heel raises to ceiling not toe.
OK...
Brackets () tells the number of times performed NOT
the number of counts.
- Single raises (x16)
- Up 2 down 2 (x4)
- Up 3 down 1 (x4)
- Singles (x4)
- Speed up (x16)***
- Singles (x4)
- Hold at top and pulse for 8
Adductors
- Top leg on floor over the bottom leg
- Bottom leg out straight, raising to ceiling
Same counts as above
Hips
- Keep top leg where it is and bring the bottom leg underneath
it. (both knees in front of hips right angle at hip and knee)
- Repeat the above counts but half them as this one
hurts more!!!
- As they are raising the top leg the foot and knee stay the same
height and tell them to try not to let the hip rock backwards.
They want to try to keep the hip as still as still as possible.
They can either hold it behind on the butt or as they raise the
leg they squeeze the hip forward.
Hope that makes sense?!?!?!?
*** SPEED ****
This is just the same as a pulse but from the bottom of the
move up. Tell them to touch down each time and only to come
half way up.
Any questions????? Surely not!
Email if so...
take care guys!
