Kansas City Blow My Blues Away

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 4342)

Hi, There's nothing like music and movement to chase away the blues! First a couple of definitions.

Grapevine Grasshopper - A grapevine grasshopper is a grapevine with a toe, heel, toe, heel, toe with the inside leg on each end of a grapevine. It can be done low or high simply, or low or high fancy (crossing the 2nd or middle toe touch over the outside leg to touch the floor with the toes outside the outside leg.) You may have seen or done this before perhaps under another name or without a name.

Hustle - A very basic and common walk up 3 and tap, walk back 3 and tap.

HustleBox - 1 hustle up with right foot lead, 1/4 turn counterclockwise to hustle backwards with left foot lead, 1/4 turn counterclockwise to face back of room to hustle with right foot lead, 1/4 turn counterclock to hustle backwards with left foot lead, you will end up where you started ready for any right foot lead.

Combo 1

To get started for a large mixed class: (Later try this combo on the left foot lead)

Combo 2

These 2 combos flow nicely when done back to back. Thanks to all the other instructors for their choreography.
