Kathy Z's Block Party

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 4470)

This is a FUN format for your step class! I call it a "Block Party", as the steps are set up in a four-step block. Here's how it goes...

Each person has a step, and you put them in groups of four. Try to put steps of the same size in each group, but if necessary, at least get the ones directly across from each other to be the same size. If you have an uneven number of participants, put empty steps in the block anyway. Leave enough room at the end of each step so that you can comfortably do an L-step. More advanced students like their blocks even bigger, making travel around the block more challenging. And travel they will!!! The following routine is pretty basic, and is designed to give you an idea of how it works. Depending on the response I get from this submission, I may send an advanced routine later.

At the beginning of the class, be sure everyone knows their left from their right. "Home" is their own step. There is no tapping!

Pattern One - beginning on home step
