Killer Kick-box and Step
This is a

Hi, this is my first entry. My class loves step and kick-box,
they get their step and some intense kick-boxing too. You need
a tape with a good beat. Before class be sure to go over all
kicks and punch form (do warm up with kickboxing moves in it,
not to intense at first). Then just do whatever step combo
you want for the first song on the tape.
- When you hear the music change to next song do shuffle
turns on bench.
- Shuffle 7x, then do 2 jacks on the floor on left side of
bench, you will be facing right wall.
- Then, left leg will start front snap kick, right foot
taps back. This becomes left front kick & right back kick.
(arms are in gaurd position).
- After you do this for a bit, you will go into a left lead
boxers shuffle (left shoulder towards front of room, make
sure that you clear the bench on the left side, because you
will be moving up and back towards mirror/front) add a left
jab to the boxers shuffle 8x, add a right cross 8x, be sure
to pivot on the back toe on the cross.
- Drop down to 4 jabs, 4 crosses, change to 3 jabs and 1
cross. (Cross can be an upper cut, hook, etc.)
- Then do boxers shuffle with no arms.
- Move this shuffle up and back, I cue it: up 2 3 tap, back 2
3 tap.
- Then add the 3 jabs and the cross on the way up, so
it will be jab jab jab cross 4 counts up and 4 counts back.
- Then go into power jacks, when you are down low in the power
jack do quick uppercut arms, when you are up do speed bag
arms. Do this 8x, tell them to get next to their bench.
- Go into your shuffle turns left lead 7x, jack on floor,
repeat on other side right lead, facing left wall.
It seems long but it goes by fast, I do this for 5 minutes,
then go into another step combo for 5 minutes.
Then take it from the top doing first step combo followed by
the first kick-boxing segment, then go into the second step
combo. When finished second step combo (end so right foot will
lead).
- Right lead march up 3 back 3. (facing left wall) This
becomes march up 2 3 kick, back 2 3 knee. You can change the
kicks to any kick you want, I do snap & front thrust kicks.
- Do this a bit, then when you are back from the knee lift, hold
the knees, alternating knees front, then alternate kicks, go
back to knees, change to side knee crunches (right elbow to
right knee, left elbow-left knee)
- Hold the side crunches on the side that is closest to the
bench, march it out on the floor, go over the top 7x,
1/2 hop over.
- You will be on the left lead, repeat on the left side.
(facing right) After this go from the very top!
To finish you can do whatever kick-box move is your favorite.
