Rounds

This is a Cycling pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 5642)

This is very easy to do but you may have to come off the bike at first to get everyone started. It also is a lot of fun.

Divide your class in groups of 3 or 4 each.

Each group will sprint counting from 1 to 20. (As if they were counting seconds) When the first group gets to 10 the second group starts sprinting and counting (the first group is still sprinting and counting up to 20), when the second group gets to 10 (the second group is still sprinting and counting up to 20), the third group starts sprinting and count, etc. When each group gets to 20 they will spin at a racing pace until the group before them counts to 10 and then they start all over again.

It is just like when you sing row, row, row your boat. So each group is counting and sprinting to 20 but at different times.

Hope this can work for you it really gets your class involved. Make sure each group yells out the numbers so everyone can hear them.

Have fun.
