Abs-olutely Fabulous

This is an Abs pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 5426)

Laying flat on the mat, with knees up and ankles crossed, do eight counts of twisting the right shoulder to the left knee. Then do eight counts crunching to the middle. Then do eight counts twisting the left shoulder to the right knee.

Break this down, doing 4 counts of each, then two counts and finally on the single count twist the right shoulder to the left knee then take it to the middle then twist the left shoulder to the right knee. Instruct your class that this is a continuous, smooth motion, as if you were forming a circle.

This is a really good abs routine that works the upper and lower abs, as well as the obliques.
