Vertical Moves

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 6898)

Here are a couple of combinations to add on to a basic vertical bench routine. Bench is horizontal. Both combinations are 32 count, self-reversing.

Combo #1 (begin on left side of step)

Combo #2

** U-step - uses the corner of the step as the bottom of the "U". Step left and right, turning a 1/4 turn as you step and then step down left and right. Once you teach it, have participants replace their left foot with the right to add a little hop to it.

I used this for several classes following 2-3 simpler combinations to challenge the more advanced students. Adding step taps in between the different moves made it easy for the beginners to catch on.
