Pyramid Climb
This is a
Cycling pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 6995)
I use this with "Walk Like an Egyptian" or any other song
that sounds similiar or puts you in the mood. I work with
resistance more than speed.
- Begin your ride with 15 seconds moderate resistance
- Jump the steps 4 sets of 4 count jumps at moderate
resistance, 4 sets of 4 count jumps at hard
resistance.
- Into the tomb (lights out)
- 10 Seconds of moderate resistance
- Climbing to the burial mound 15 seconds of hard
resistance
- Breakaway to get out of the pyramid 15 seconds (they
choose resistance)
- Lights on after 15 seconds
- Jump the steps (second level)
- 4 Sets of 2 count jumps at moderate resistance, 4 sets
of 2 count jumps at hard resistance
- Recover 15 seconds moderate resistance
- Steep incline hard resistance using half time cadence
seated climb 30 seconds/standing climb 30 seconds
- Reverse jump the steps (third level) (down and up rather
than up and down). I keep resistance the same and start
with 8 count down, 8 count up, gear down and 4 count
down, 4 countup, gear down and 2 count down, 2 count up.
Repeat moving resistance back up.
- Sprint to the top at cadence moderate/hard resistance
Enjoy!
