Instant Cardio (Just add Kickboxing!)

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 7615)

This pattern should take up a large portion of a class if you break it down and repeat each move several times; I teach it like add-on. It is on the 32's and self-reversing, start on the right lead!

Block 1 (32 counts)

Block 2 (32 counts)

Block 3 (32 counts)

You are now ready to go back to block one on the left lead and do all three block on the other side!!

I teach block three like this:

First have them do a regular boxer shuffle on left lead, forward and back (or north/south). Then I have them add the jabs; then I have them do it 8 times on the left lead at the top of a phrase; then 8 jacks center, then go to the right lead boxer shuffle with jabs for 8, center jacks for eight. Then I break it down to 4 left, 4 jacks center, 4 right, 4 center, then I break it down to sets of 2, then finally singles; by the end of that they are ready for a break because the cardio gets intense!
