Suz's Working All Four
This is a
Quad Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 7629)
As per usual, the steps are set up as follows and pattern
begins with left lead on the south side of the home step.
Home Second
X
First Third
- Double ham step touch around the east side of
Home (8 counts) left lead
- Diagonal over Home (4 counts) right lead
- Diagonal over Third (4 counts) right lead
- Step touch (back to the West side of the bench) around
Third to Second (4 counts) Some call it a waltz step,
or you could simply walk around to second. Right lead.
I usually have them walk around the first couple of times
before introducing the Waltz.
- Over the top of Second (4 counts) right lead
- Indecision lunge over Second (8 counts) left lead
Pattern begins again on third with the double ham step touch
going around the west end of the bench. Sorry, it doesn't
self-reverse with a right lead.
It's much more fun, not to mention safer, if plenty of room
is allowed between the rows and columns of the step.
