Complex Quad!

This is a Quad Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 7640)

My class and I can't get enough Quad step! Hope you like it too!

Home      First

Third     Second

Block 1 (self reversing)--Begin right lead on Home

Block 2 (non-reversing)--Begin left lead at First

Repeat Blocks 1 and 2 beginning on left lead at First

Block 3 (self reversing)--Begin right lead at Home

Block 4 (non-reversing)--Begin left lead at First

Repeat Blocks 3 and 4 beginning on left lead at First

Block 5 (self reversing)--Begin right lead at Home

Repeat combination 5 at First with left lead

Now you can repeat the whole pattern Blocks 1&2 together leading right and left, Blocks 3 &4 together leading right and left and Block 5 repeating twice (once each lead). For more of a challenge perform Blocks 1-5 one time each alternating leads. Then repeat begining with left lead.

** Taps around the world: Left lead tap and straddle, right lead tap and travel facing the back, left lead tap and straddle, right lead tap and travel back to front. Each tap is only 2 counts! (8)

** L-jazz: Start at First on right side, left lead. Step up left, knee lift right, down right (off the end like a regular L-step), kick left, cross left foot over left on the floor, step back right, cha cha travel to left back to home step next. (8)

** Repeater knee tap in-out-in: Start at Home facing front towards left side of step. Step up right, knee lift left, tap down left 3 times close in to the step, out from the step and close in to the step (counts 3,4 & 5), lift left knee again, come down to the floor behind the step on 7 and 8. (8)

** Knee hop over, knee lift floor walk around: Start at Home facing right, left lead. Step up left, lift right knee hop and unload, cross right leg behind and step off left side of step, step down left and at same time lift left knee (4). With the left lead walk 4 steps (2 backward 2 forward) around the end of Home back towards where you started but over shoot your walk and end at First (8 total).

** Straddle Tap: Start at First facing right, left lead. Straddle over the step on the floor left lead, tap the step right lead, right lead exit to the right, left lead exit right. (4) Repeat the same move still facing the right wall, right lead on Second.

** 1/2 hop turn Broadway knee: Start at First facing right, left lead. Step knee lift diagonal 1/2 hop turn (turning towards left shoulder) (2), walk backwards on the floor 3 counts, kick left foot and clap on 6, walk forward back to the step on 7 & 8. (8)

** Indecision lunge: Start at home facing left, right lead. Step up right and left, lunge right and left from the top, exit to the right while turning in towards the step and travel to First. (8)

** Double knee back track: Start at First, facing the right wall, right lead. 2 count knee repeater, walk 4 steps (2 backward 2 forward) around the end of the step to the other side. (8)

** Figure 8: Start at Home, facing left wall, right lead. Step hop knee lift turn toward the left as you lift right arm up and circle as you step down down. (4) Now on Second, lead left and step hop knee lift turn toward the right as you lift left arm up in a circle down as you step down down. (4)

** 3 Count over the top cha cha: Start at Home, facing left wall, right lead. Step up right and left, on count 3 step down right and lift the left foot off the step. Repeat to the other side for a total of 6 count the cha cha turning in towards the step and travel to First. (8)
