Water Fun with Lisa

This is an Aquatic pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 7723)

This is the first time I am posting. I have visited this site before & really enjoy reading what others are doing in their water aerobics classes. I have been teaching for 5 years & am USWFA certified. I teach 2 nights per week & just love it. Anyway, I have lots of fun moves to share with you. Here are a few. Let me know how they work for you.

Form a large circle (8-10 people or so) & join hands. Jog in the circle one way until you get a nice strong current going. Then on the count of 3, every other peron has a "seat" - keeping hands joined. Take a ride for a circle or so, then run the other direction & repeat, letting the others take their turn. My class really has fun with this one. Its a good ice-breaker.

Find a partner & 2 noodles & face each other. Grab onto the ends of the noodles. Noodles should be in the water. Do ski/scissor legs & push & pull noodles through the water. Move back & forth (to wall & back if you have a shallow pool)

Face each other holding the ends of the noodles as described above. Then do jumping jacks pushing the noodles through the water.

Face each other again hanging on to ends of noodles. Jog & do "double dutch" arms. (You may splash a little - but it's fun) I normally do those for a while & then switch to backward double dutch arms.

Have fun!!!
