Aquatic Ideas

This is an Aquatic pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8308)

I rarely use a lot of choreography when I teach Aqua, however any of these ideas can be formatted to your own style of teaching.

Start out with a warm up of 5-10 minutes. This usually consists of walking or slow jogging in a circle or side to side depending on how the pool is set up.

After stretching have everyone form a circle to begin class.

Set One:

(students are kicking into the middle of the circle so they do not kick each other!)

Set Two:

These sets can be done in between jogging around the pool for a few laps, or cross counrty skiing back and forth a few times. There are so many things that you can do in your aqua class, if you would like any more ideas please email me! Also, I am an Aquatic Certification Instructor for Aerobic Pipeline, if you would like to host a seminar at your club to gain more know-how, I can send you information.

Happy Teaching!
