"Reverse" Biathlon

This is a Cycling pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 6525)

I've combined the Cycle Countdown pattern with a twist off the Biker Bench pattern for my 5:45 a.m. Power Pacing class. It sorta mimics a biathlon. We'll start the Cycle Countdown and follow it throughout the entire class, but after that first minute, we'll break off in twos and go run two laps around the indoor track (the track is approximately 20 feet from our cycling room.) After you've finished your two laps, you hop back on your bike and pick up where everyone else is. At that point, two other participants run their two laps. I tell the class they can walk or run their laps or if they don't want to run, they can just stay on the bike. They love it!! All in all, each of us probably runs 3, maybe 4 times. It adds a little excitement to the Cycle Countdown, which in and of itself is an awesome workout!! And, if you plan it right, you can get out of the vertical jog...anyone who's done the Cycle Countdown knows what I mean!!

Everyone keep up the good work!! All of the ideas are awesome, and I've used several routines for my Power Pacing class.
