Time to Sweat

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 6212)

#1. A fun arm pattern that you can add to the toe up transition is as follows...Lift right arm above head, then lift left arm above head, now life both arms above the head, bring arms down and clap in front of the body, behind the body and once again in the front. Cue by saying right, left, together, clap front, back, front. Everyone really seems to enjoy this fun variation.

I usually start by teaching the arm pattern with the toe ups. I then practice the grapevine L and add on the dance kicks, twist, and kick backs on one side. I have my class practice one side of the pattern then I add in the toe up transition and repeat the combo witht the left lead.

I have just started teaching hi/lo, step, strength conditioning, and abdominal classes, so I am always looking for new combo and toning ideas. I hope that you find that this combo makes you sweat...I LOVE TO SWEAT!! and that your classes enjoy it! Let me know what you think...or email me with any questions you have.
