Going Vertical

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 6227)

All combos are 32 counts and self reversing.
Step is vertical; begin with a right lead

Combo #1

Repeat on left

Combo #2

Repeat on left

Combo #3

Repeat on left

*Studder turnstep:
Right foot steps up; shuffle down the step (right-left-right) (counts 1,2), left foot (still on the floor) (count 3), right foot steps down as you turn to face the back of the room (count 4), left foot steps up; shuffle down the step (left-right-left) (counts 5, 6) right foot (still on the floor) (count 7) left foot steps down as you turn to face the front. I have them get low and sort of squat shuffle while both arms punch forward.

**Rock on rock over:
Right foot rocks on top (1,2) straddle the step and rock on the floor (3,4) rock on top again (5,6) rock behind you on the floor (7,8)---(counts 5,6,7,&8 are really just a mambo on the step)

This routine works really well with "Latin" music; everyone gets pumped!!

Please let me know what you think; this is my first time submitting. I want to thank all of you for the great ideas I've gotten from this site. (I've only been teaching for about a year and a half) ... (and half of that time I was pregnant!!)
