Linda's Basic Hi/Lo

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from (pattern 6261)

All combinations are 32 counts and begin with a right lead. They are NOT self-reversing, but at the end I'll give you some options (marked with "**") to make it a bit more interesting.

*Once your class is comfortable with the entire routine, change the two grapevines to a grapevine "L". You end facing the right wall. This allows you to do the entire routine to each side of the room.

**If your class is ready for it, make the walk 3/knee a walk forward and half turn. Then have them turn back as they do the single step-curls.

I found that this routine is simple enough for most beginners to follow, yet it has the intensity to challenge my more advanced students. I encouraged them to really focus on their form and on making each move strong and controlled. Hope you find it helpful. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
