Zoot Scoop Boogie

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 6299)

The scoop moves toward the front of the room. Try to get everyone to clap their hands above their head (one clap for each "scoop"). It's a great heart rate booster.

The lunge is self-explanatory.

One heel/one step touch is exactly like it sounds. One right heel (1) with a toe tap (2) then right into the step touch to the right (3,4). Then repeat on the left side.

I have my students turn 180 degrees during the out-out-in-in so that the combination is repeated facing the back wall. If your students don't like the view change, simply repeat the pattern scooping backwards the second time.

I got many positive comments from my last pattern -- please do not hesitate to email again with any comments or questions!
