Flurries!
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 7278)
Combo:
- Begin with right lead:
- Alternate 4 uppercuts traveling to the front of
the room by doing hamstring curls (right leg curl
with right upper cut and left leg curl with left
upper cut)...8 count
- Alternate 4 hooks standing still...8count
- * 8 Flurries moving back quickly...8count
- Standing still, do 4 flurries...4count
- **Do right jab, left jab...2 count then hold for
2 count to repeat the pattern
*Flurries are quick upper cuts. You punch upwards
quickly by your belly button. Each flurry is one
count. I move backwards by doing the Flashdance move
where Jennifer Beals goes crazy with her feet when
she dances to "What a Feeling!"
** I cue this... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4, hut, hut.
The "hut hut" is yelled by the entire class while doing
the right and left jab. This is really fun and easy to
do. The participants really get into this. Questions?
