Victoria Vertical Practicum

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 7374)

I recently took (yet another) Step Certification course. For the practicum I had to come up with something that utilized all levers, space on and around the step and as many different directions as possible. A lot of the pattern ideas I got from this site, so thank you if you recognize something that you submitted.

My contribution was to string as many 32 count, self-reversing patterns as possible in the time I was allowed.

Step is vertical
Start on left side, right lead

Block A

You are facing the front of the room.

(You should be on the right side of the step so your next move starts with a right lead facing the step. However, when you repeat to the other side, you end up on the left side of the step so the lead leg is left.)

Block B

You are on the right side of step now facing the step.

Block C

(you should still be on the right side of the step but facing the front of the room)

Block D

Block E

(You should be on the left side of step facing the front of the room)

(This combination does not self-reverse until you combine it with Block F below)

Block F

* Split Basic with side entrance:
You are on the right side of the step at the back end, facing front. Step up left up right, lunge back off short end left and right, step down off short end left and right.

**Walk over, straddle down, hop back:
From the short end, walk to middle of step left and right, straddle down left and right, hop backwards on floor (or you can walk back instead) to the short end where you started this pattern. Step up left and start the knee straddles from here.

*** Bowtie:
Diagonal up, 2 step touch with a pivot round short end. Or can do a figure eight instead ... diagonal up, walk round short end, diagonal up walk round other short end.

**** 3-Part Combo
I usually do a knee, leg extension, ham curl myself however can be three of any of your favourite moves.

I always welcome feedback. Thanks again to anybody whose pattern idea(s) I borrowed.
