6-pack help

This is an Abs pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 6655)

Using a step, put 3 risers under one end of the step & one riser on the other (like an incline bench). Start by sitting at the lower end of the step, lay back onto step, lower back to the step just as you would if you were on the floor. Arms are up & over head, gripping the higher end of the step. Bring knees up, calves are parallel to the floor, toes up and push the feet out and bring them in. Don't bring your knees all the way back to your chest, because that could pull your lower back up off the step. This is great for lower abs. Sometimes I'll ask my students to just hold their legs out straight & keep their abs in to get a little stabilized training in. Another option is to hold legs out & do alternating scissors kicks. Try it & email me to let me know what you think!
