No More Thunder

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from (pattern 6702)

This is an idea to work both the ad/ab ductors.

To start, lie on your side propped up on your hand with your elbow soft. Legs are stretched out under you with your hips and shoulders stacked. Lift top leg like a regular leg lift (20x); then bring your leg in front of you at a 90 degree angle and lift and lower (20x). Being propped up adds an intensity like no other.

Following this excercise, roll onto your back with the soles of your feet together. This will allow this hips to release and relax. After a minute or so, explain to the clients to press the soles of their feet together. You should feel your inner thighs awaken. Typically the pelvis is tilted up slightly, but this is not an excercise for the tush-INNER THIGHS are working here. I usually push 16-20 times holding the last one for a 25-30 count, release, and start again. To test it and let them know they have worked those legs I have them put their legs in the air (with arms down at the side for back support) and open and close their legs typically starting with easy open/close. The last 2-4 I make them close in 8 counts...feel the burn, baby!!
