This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 6710)

Hi! I recently stole this from my fabulously toned teammate Maryanne! When I tried it in class....whoa!!!!!

Very simple quadricep exercise using the body bar.

Using the wall for balance, place the bar on top of the outside foot. Using all the safety precautions (abs tight, supporting leg slightly bent etc) bend the knee. From here, lift the leg slightly and lower.(keeping knee bent) I used singles, counts of two and pulsing.

Using same leg, lower the foot to the floor but don't touch...keeping left knee slightly bent and lift the whole leg forward and back.

Movement should be controlled, if necessary, can apply a little added weight by pressing down with the hand holding the bar. Or get a heavier bar. Switch sides!
