Simple But Not Easy Abs

This is an Abs pattern from (pattern 6785)

This is a simple but really challenging abdominal variation. The idea came from doing abs on a resist-a-ball at another club that I teach at. If you have no resist-a-balls, try this:

Everyone should have a bench (2 risers each side works best) with a mat on top. Instead of lying on your back the long way on the bench, lay down crosswise on the bench with lower back on bench. This way no one gets to touch down to rest because there is just air back there. Simple moves are now very effective. Do your favorites. Participants always have the option of lying on the bench the long way if this gets to intense. Go for the six-pack!
