Step Warm-up in Victoria

This is a Warmup pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 7074)

This is a step warm-up pattern using approximately 128-130 bpm. Step is horizontal. Right lead.

The warm-up starts with a few very basic 16 count patterns which can then be linked together (none of them are really new or mine!). Once the patterns are linked and practiced, I've offered some modifications and options to make it more interesting. Please let me know what you think.

Combination B

Combination C

Combination D

Here come the options!

Combination A + B

This is a 32 count combination

Combination C + D

This is a 32 count combination

Then you can link A+B+C+D (depending on how long your warm up is).

The whole point of this step warm-up is to get used to the step. Simple basics and tap ups, tap downs allow the participants to get used to stepping up and down. K-step, and grapevines get them used to different directional movements and the V-step prepares them for the turnstep. The hamstring curls stepping over the bench prepare them for straddle moves.

Feedback is always welcome.
