Hellish Squats

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 7195)

I teach a 60 minute lower body class at my gym. I start with a 10 minute warmup, then proceed to 20 minutes of standing leg work. With a heavy weight, I do varations of squats, lunges, and deadlifts. Some examples are squats and 3 counts hold at bottom, and 3 count pulsing lungs. After the 20 minutes of standing, heavy, weight work, I take to the floor. While on the floor, I have the class do 20 minutes of butt kickbacks, inner and outer thigh lifts, and dirty dogs. I finish the class with the following pattern. It is VERY ADVANCED and will leave the class with tortured thighs.

This pattern really burns out the thighs. Many times I'm even sore the next day. You might have to lower the reps depending on your class. I teach very advanced students that is why I include so many reps. Remember to bring water and a towel-there will be sweat everywhere! Also avoid steps where possible-you might not be able to get up them. I hope this pattern is easy to understand. Thanks everyone for the great patterns.
