Square Dancing

This is an Aquatic pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8178)

Howdy Partner! Ready for a square dance warm up? (can be used in aerobics segment depending on the class)

Have everyone in the shallow end -in two lines facing each other about 6 to 8 feet apart!

Have them jog forward to their partner and give a bow and then job back to their starting postition. (the one directly across from them).

Have them jog forward and circle right shoulder to right shoulder with their partner. They circle around each other and jog backwards to their starting position. I think this is called dosey doe! Do this again with the left shoulders.

Now have them jog forward to their partner, hook elbows, circle around together and then retreat back to their starting position. Have them keep jogging in place here.

You can continue to get fancy and have them hook elbows with each other in a figure 8 formation all the way down each line and then make bridges for everyone to go under with their arms.
