Paradise's Eighteenth

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 7906)

V-SLIDE-- Right lead--Step up up into a V, step down with right foot, but step more towards West wall, still positioned on South side. Step down with left foot, and you should then be on the West end slightly South of step. Proceed, then to walk front and back. When you do this you should be on the West end of your step.

FIGURE 8-- Teach this as 2 alternating knees, then add an outside turn on the 1st knee, and the 2nd knee is performed on the floor with an inside turn back towards step. I usually cue them to always turn towards the lifted knee. Of course, if they don't like this, they can just keep it 2 alternating knees.

Thanks, let me know if you can't figure this out.
Carole
