Energize Yourself!!

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 7966)

I warm the class up with the steptouch and then I add in the V-steps. Once the class is use to the steptouch with a V-step then I add direction moving them forward then back with V-steps at the top and bottom of the pattern.

Then I will practise the grapevine and mambos separate before I combine them together. When combining the grapevine and mambo I will mambo for 4 times and eventually lower the number to one mambo. (remember the leg that you mambo on is opposite to the direction you are moving.)

After the class gets the hang of the grapevine mambo then I add the slow sqats.

I will then put it all together and run through it several times for them to get comfortable with the routine.
