Oktoberfest Warm UP
This is a
Warmup pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 8031)
This warmup can be used for step, highlow, I use it for
my Pump Class.
Crank the music up, I use about 130 bpm for my class, but
I pitch it way up for warm up.
- Step touch low and wide pumping arms.
- Take arms across chest 8
- Step heel, arms pull down 8
- Four sets of 8 then 4
Move directly to:
- Up tap right and left (like bob and weave for
kickboxing)
- Reach arm over head 8
- Reach arm across chest 8
Move directly to:
- Plies down (toes and knees out) and up slow
- Add arms (in and out, squeezing shoulder
blades together)
- 8-12 total
- Hold plie down reach arms high above head
clasping hands
- Reach right
- Reach left
- Release
- Lift right heel off the ground, turn and pivot,
lunging towards left wall, you are now lunging for
your stretches.
