Follow the Leader

This is a Cycling pattern from (pattern 8035)

This is a great drill to do nearing the end of your class. By that time everyone is feeling pretty tired, and this is a great way to boost their self-esteem!

Essentially, for the length of the song, they call the shots!

Every 30 SECONDS a participant chooses to go up or down in either resistance or cadence. Once the decision is called, everyone must hold it for the 30 second duration. The only way you are "allowed" to alter resistance or cadence is when it is your turn to call the shots!

Sometimes they are die-hards and never choose to go down in anything! After a 5 minute song.... we're all pretty tired. Other times, they fluctuate all over the place. The beauty is that they cater this drill to how they're feeling.

MUSIC: I have an awesome song that I use for this one called "Follow the Leader" by Nigel and Marvin. (It's part of a compilation on a CD called "Cuba 2000"). It's upbeat and wild!
