More Name Fun

This is an Aquatic pattern from (pattern 7788)

I like to come up with different things for my deep water class so that everyone is alert all throughout the class. Also, I have newcomers every so often and I like to include so that they don't feel left out when all the "regulars" start chatting. This is a good way to learn your participants' names too!

After the warm-up, we went around and each person would say their name and their favorite move. After each person, we would talk about the form and what the exercise works as well as different variations of the exercise. We did a couple of minutes for each exercise. After everyone was done, I started calling out names at random and we would have to say what move it was and do that for a while. Then, we assembled in a large circle and I took a noodle and held it above my head. While holding the noodle, I jogged over to someone and we would have to do that move for 30 second sprints (2 or 3 sets, depending on how big the class is). That person would take it to someone else and so on. Once, sprints are done, we did toning and abs and cool down.

It's a great way to get people to interact.
