Merry-Go-Round

This is an Aquatic pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 9069)

Some of you may have heard of this in the past but it's still fun to add to your program every now and then. Have the class join hands and make a large circle. Have them SLOWLY travel clockwise with hands joined so to make a current. Not too fast or they'll get dizzy in a hurry. Then have one of the participants enter the circle while it's still turning and travel in the opposite direction (counterclockwise). Make sure the person in the middle keeps close to the wall of the circle. The current is greatest here. If your group is too small, then have the participant travel around the outside of the circle. I sometimes add this at the end of my aerobic routine. My classes really have fun with this one.
