Hello Turnsteppers,
I can't thank everyone enough for all of the GREAT ideas from this site. This is my first submission ... hope you like it. I teach for several Recreation Departments so I use whatever format I am in the mood for. I also teach for the "Y" but I have to abide by their format. With the Rec. Departments, we perform about 10 minutes of aerobic then immediately 1-2 minutes of anaerobic. I give lots of modifications and I encourage each participant to work at THEIR intensity level.

Repeat as much as you want then we keep the duck and reach/jump for our anaerobic and then repeat the combo on the left. It's a lot of fun and it's easy to cue. Even my beginners are able to follow this combo:-) Hope you guys can use it. Please feel free to email me for comments.

Now, I have a question. I'd like to incorporate some sort of emergency services into my anaerobic segment. Does anyone have a combo that would simulate what firefighters or cops do in the field? I came up with one ... and ONLY one! Visual is IMPORTANT ... cop is chasing a criminal. First we knee raise right & left ... turn the knee raise to a fence climb (as if the criminal is climbing a fence) then JUMP (as the criminal jumps off the wall) then RUN again and repeat this pattern about 4x. By then, we are all dead:-) I've not been able to come with anything else. Any ideas? Thanks for all of your help. Keep the combos coming.
