Bottom burner

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 9864)

First take a small tube (preferably one that resembles a figure eight) and wrap one end around your right ankle and the other end around your left ankle. Have your class line up in a single file line on one side of the room facing the front. Have everyone assume the squat position and hold there for a count of eight. Then with everyone still holding that squat position, you slowing start to slide to the side, so it goes like this, Step together, step together(until you reach the other side of the room.

Have them again hold a squat position, until everyone has reached the other side of the room. Then return to the other side doing the same thing.

Variations:

Everyone is spread out around the room, and with the tubing again, have everyone assume the squat position, and have them (staying low) do a step touch right and step touch left. Then add two to the right and two to the left. End with eight squats in the middle.

Things really makes the glutes and outer thigh burn.
