Running Man (tapless)

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 9888)

16 count, non-reversing. Step is horizontal. Assume right foot lead. Note: "Exit" means dismount "down, down" with no tap.

This pattern works really well following Twister L which is a 16 count, reversing, tapless pattern. Great intensity, quite simple, and easy to modify for beginning exercisers.

Running Man: Jump into a small lunge with right foot on platform and left foot on the floor (1). Then jump/switch left foot on top, right foot on top, etc. pumping arms as you would running up a hill. Complete 8 counts.

This is not a low-impact or low intensity pattern! So, to break down for a mixed-level class, tell them to stay with whichever version works best for them.
